Man sets fire to house and and threatens to kill their child

Man rapes, shoots multiple people, threatens to commit mass murder at a church.

So, what do these two have in common? They have an amazing amount of righteous,  God fearing ideologues behind their motivations? Well, they certainly are righteous in their own eyes. Scared shitless right wing zealot terrorists in my eyes. No one should rape, kill, or commit arson and threaten the life of a child. These people should be tried for what they are, home grown terrorists. Why? So people understand first and foremost how grave such actions are and that their religious fervor does not excuse their ignorant and blasphemous actions. They are exactly the same as those misguided Alla-fearing radicals in the middle east. EXACTLY. Religion is a call to peace, love thy neighbor, love thine self even if the world hates you. It has absolutely nothing to do with converting people to your means. That is called brainwashing. Open your doors, let people find you. Open their minds to peace and love. Do not under any circumstances tell them that God wants you to do this for him or that for him. That edges on cult behavior. “God says to have sex with me‘ ‘God says to kill for him‘ ‘God says to hate people you don’t like‘. Worshiping the acts above the God is a sin. You work for God, not for what God wants. What god wants is peace, love, and understanding. Read the friggen bible!

I can’t believe how many people recite things they were told at religious studies courses and never even read the bible themselves.
