God Save Sarah Palin.
How dare this man of such caliber, experience, and wisdom even think to critisize or critique what this unfallible, pure, saint of a celebrity Governor Sarah Palin has done. Oh, it’s Chuck Hagel. Never Mind.

[Don] Sipple, the Republican strategist, voiced concern that Mr. McCain’s approach could backfire. “Any campaign that is taking liberty with the truth and does it in a serial manner will end up paying for it in the end,” he said. “But it’s very unbecoming to a political figure like John McCain whose flag was planted long ago in ground that was about ‘straight talk’ and integrity.” Source.
Let me get this straight, if he had not run on a principle of integrity, would lieing repeatedly like he has be ok?

But I can’t think of any precedent, at least in America, for the blizzard of lies since the Republican convention. The Bush campaign’s lies in 2000 were artful — you needed some grasp of arithmetic to realize that you were being conned. This year, however, the McCain campaign keeps making assertions that anyone with an Internet connection can disprove in a minute, and repeating these assertions over and over again.

But McCain has concluded that a fact-based case about Obama isn’t enough to prevail in November. So he has chosen to smear his opponent with ridiculous claims that he thinks the American people are gullible enough to believe.
He has charged repeatedly that his opponent is willing to lose a war to win an election. What’s McCain willing to lose to become president? Nothing so consequential as a war. Just his soul.

McCain and Palin don’t just lie about big things, like tax policy, Iraq and the economy. They even lie about petty trivialities — any tiny little thing is fair game, if it lets them preen for a moment in front of their audiences.
Mccain: The fact is, I’m running on my record as a reliable conservative of 24 years. And the indicators of that, obviously, is that I’ve fought wasteful spending, I have had a strong and a long relationship on national security, I’ve been involved in every national crisis that this nation has faced since Beirut, I understand the issues, I understand and appreciate the enormity of the challenge we face from radical Islamic extremism.
I am prepared. I am prepared. I need no on-the-job training.
I wasn’t a mayor for a short period of time. I wasn’t a governor for a short period of time. For 20-some years, including leading the largest squadron in the United States Navy, I led. I didn’t manage for profit, I led for patriotism.
Fine ok
GIBSON: I’m talking about somebody who’s a head of state, who can negotiate for that country. Ever met one?
PALIN: I have not and I think if you go back in history and if you ask that question of many vice presidents, they may have the same answer that I just gave you. But, Charlie, again, we’ve got to remember what the desire is in this nation at this time. It is for no more politics as usual and somebody’s big, fat resume maybe that shows decades and decades in that Washington establishment, where, yes, they’ve had opportunities to meet heads of state … these last couple of weeks … it has been overwhelming to me that confirmation of the message that Americans are getting sick and tired of that self-dealing and kind of that closed door, good old boy network that has been the Washington elite.
SERIOUSLY????
She is a woman whom the Republicans do not want the media to interview too often. She is a woman governed by talking points and cue cards. She is a woman best described by a fellow Alaskan woman whom lead the fight against her attempt to ban books in a local library. She also cut funding for teenage pregnancies. Also this link. She’s a very corrupt bush republican; a two faced liar. See for yourself. » Continue reading “Who is Sarah Palin?”
