The GOP is inciting not just hatred, but unrest. Can we afford that now?

Republicans are afraid of spending

Why?

Really, why? They were so OK with spending 1.3 trillion dollars in 2001 under Bush. This bill is only 900 billion. A stimulous plan spends money, that is capitalism. Money circulating once again. The banks were bailed out, right? Why aren’t loans increasing in number? That’s because the money should be placed in the hands of contractors. That is, union labor rebuilding our cities, making property values go up. These are small steps in a long journey of recuperation.

God Save Sarah Palin.

How dare this man of such caliber, experience, and wisdom even think to critisize or critique what this unfallible, pure, saint of a celebrity Governor Sarah Palin has done. Oh, it’s Chuck Hagel. Never Mind.

Mccain sponsors bill that caused current financial crisis, blames Democrats

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/9/16/203823/008/1013/601053

It was inevitable.  James Taranto of WSJ knows that the current market crisis is an albatross around John McCain’s neck.  Today, he tried his best to deflect attention to the Democratic Party’s vote on a bill which lies at the nucleus of Wall Street’s bloodletting – naming Joe Biden and Harry Reid as having supported that bill, and exonerating John McCain.

Problem is, he is lying.

Fact checking the Republican lies.

But I can’t think of any precedent, at least in America, for the blizzard of lies since the Republican convention. The Bush campaign’s lies in 2000 were artful — you needed some grasp of arithmetic to realize that you were being conned. This year, however, the McCain campaign keeps making assertions that anyone with an Internet connection can disprove in a minute, and repeating these assertions over and over again.

But McCain has concluded that a fact-based case about Obama isn’t enough to prevail in November. So he has chosen to smear his opponent with ridiculous claims that he thinks the American people are gullible enough to believe.

He has charged repeatedly that his opponent is willing to lose a war to win an election. What’s McCain willing to lose to become president? Nothing so consequential as a war. Just his soul.

McCain and Palin don’t just lie about big things, like tax policy, Iraq and the economy. They even lie about petty trivialities — any tiny little thing is fair game, if it lets them preen for a moment in front of their audiences.

52 lies and counting, completely fact checked and sourced.

Who is Sarah Palin?

She is a woman whom the Republicans do not want the media to interview too often. She is a woman governed by talking points and cue cards. She is a woman best described by a fellow Alaskan woman whom lead the fight against her attempt to ban books in a local library. She also cut funding for teenage pregnancies.  Also this link. She’s a very corrupt bush republican; a two faced liar. See for yourself. » Continue reading “Who is Sarah Palin?”

So, everyone is angry about what some guy Obama is affiliated with when this went unreported. I hate these double standards.

I wish I was making this crap up. Fox News Primary Election results.

As I understand it, this graphic speaks of the prospective front runners. The results now say that Ron Paul is in second with Huckabee in third. So, the main story here is this. There are <1 percent collected votes from the districts. I may never vote Ron Paul, but thanks for the picture. It’ll rightly do the thinking for me.
