Bush admits he approved torture
Is Congress so cowed that it accepts the statements of a president who has little regard for the truth?
Is there no lawmaker who is appalled about the tarnishing of our image in world opinion? And where are the voices of the other presidential candidates who will inherit the Bush legacy of torture? Why the silence?
I count on the American people to refuse to be shamed any more.

I mentioned before how in ww2 they used a variety of tactics, none of which were torture. Such as they planted a well learned person of their country as a cell mate and coaxed information out of them through discussion. Another way that I realized was shame tactics which may or may not work, but certainly did to german prisoners such was the example given. I also mentioned how torture produces terrible information, because they’ll tell you their santa claus’s left testical to get you to stop torturing them. There is no truth worth trusting under duress. Want proof? FBI followed through on leads gotten from torturing a key supposed member of a terrorist group. Read on. The headline speaks much if you’re lazy.
